SQUASH RACKETS TITLE
NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP P. D. HALL THE WINNER (By Telegraph- -Pres* Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 6. The New Zealand squash rackets championship was decided on the Christchurch Club’s courts over the week-end, the winner being P. D. Hall, of Christchurch. The competitors included five naval officers and Captain J. Tweed)e, A.D.C. to the GovernorGeneral. Results of the semi-finals and final were as follow: Semi-finals, P. D. Hall beat L. D. Cotterill, 10—8, 3—9, 9—2, 2—9, 10—8; D. W. J. Gould beat G. E. F. Kingscote, 10—8, 9—4, 9—4. Final: P. D. Hall beat D. W. J. Gould, 9—l, B—lo, 9—6, 9—o. The next New Zealand championships will be played in Juno on the courts at the Devonport naval base, Auckland.
