LOAN OF TEN MILLIONS
AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL

The Loan Council has decided to raise a loan of £10,000,000, half .to be utilised to fund outstanding treasury bills and half to be applied for a loan works programme by the various Governments. The loans will be underwritten by the Commonwealth Bank, the terms being 3J per cent, at £9l for a periqd of 10 years.
