SUPPORT TO MR P. C. Webb. DECISION OF MINERS. (By Telegraph—rress Association.) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 5. A meeting of the West Coast _ Miners’ Council and officials of the miners’ national council yesterday decided to abandon the proposal to nominate a candidate for the Buller by-election in opposition to Mr if. C. Webb, and recommend all their affiliations to cooperate with a view to placing a candidate in the field at the general election.
