PRESSMEN IN GERMANY
PANTER CASE DISCLOSUREiS. LONDON PRESS QUERIES. (British Official Wireless.) Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. RUGBY, Nov. 3. The release from prison of Mr Noel Panter on eonditipn that he leaves German within 48 hours is the occasion of further comment on the case in the English Press. The “News-Chronicle” says: “Panter did nothing but his plain duty ns a journalist. He reported honestly what he saw. Does the German Government deny this right to foreign correspondents ? If so, no responsible British journalist will consent to work on these terms.”
