At Adelaide South Australia in the first innings made 77 for one wicket (Nitschko not out 38, 'Richardson 32, Longergan not out 5). Victoria in the first innings had made 197 (Ponsford 1, Woodfull 02, O’Brien 49, Rigg 30, Bromley 28. 'Grimme’tt took seven wickets for SO.
