GOVERNMENTS IN AGREEMENT. TERMS NOT DISCLOSED. (Umtea Press Association—By Ekotric Telegrapn Copyright.) ST. JOHNS, Nov. 2. The Prime Minister of Newfoundland, Mr Alderdice, to-night intimated that the Governments of Britain, Canada and Newfoundland had reached an agreement with regard to the proposed trans-Atlantic air service. The terms could not be disclosed at present, but they were satisfactory to all who had participated in the conference in Newfoundland last summer. Mr. Alderdice offered no prediction when the service would be established, but said lie felt certain a trans-Atlantic air base would be developed eventually in Newfoundland. The proposed route is said to be from Liverpool by way of northern Scotland, Iceland. Greenland and Labrador to Montreal, there to link up with the American ancl Canadian cities to the Pacific Coast.
