Frost maintains its grip of Britain and the Continent. Skating prevails widely. No race meetings have been held since last Saturday owing to, the frozen ground. The problem of shelterless unemployed. at. Budapest is so acute that the Government is planning to issue 30.000,000 “beggar coins” of low denominations for the payment of small tasks. The coins will be specially redeemable in food and sleeping accommodation.
