LEAP OFF SYDNEY BRIDGE
YOUNG MAN ESCAPES DEATH SOMERSAULTS DURING FALL SPINE SLIGHTLY INJURED. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 10.40 p.m. o-day. SYDNEY, May 30. A young man, Robert Anderson, leaped from the Harbour Bridge and fell 175 feet striking the water feet first after turning over m the air. no rose to the surface and swam round until rescued by a launch. His spine was slightly injured, but otherwise he was not hurt.
