At the wool sales 9551 bales were offered, including 5023 from New Zealand. Approximately 5070 were sold. There was good general competitionand opening rates were maintained. There was some withdrawals of Merinos owing to high limits. Quotations are: New Zealand greasy crossbred: 'J’e Paroe. top price 7)d, average 6pi. Scoured half-bred: N. 15Jd, and 15d. There is not much new business at the Bradford wool market. Quotations: 70’s, 23d; 64’s, 207 d ; 60’s. 20d ; 56’s, 16d • 50’s, lOd ; 46’s, ,9d; 40’s, BKI.
