GAOL FOR FRAUD
THREE MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Oct. 28. John Alfred Barker, alias Baker, aged 56, described as a vagrant and lazy type, wa,s sentenced to three months in gaol for obtaining £27 10s from a moneylender by representing that he was the owner of certain livestock and furniture at Mangaweka.
