MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
SITTING AT ELTHAM. Claiming £l4 os 6d as rent due and in lieu of notice, Elizabeth Jenkins (Air. Crump) proceeded against Angus Campbell (Mr. Tayler) in the Eltliam Magistrate’s Court this morning before Mr. R, \Y. Tate, S.M. After hearing evidence as to a tenancy agreement and its termination, the magistrate gave judgment for £l2 os 6d, with costs
Judgment, by default, was given W. G. Frost against J. Attrill, £i(), costs £1 10s 6d.
An application for maintenance of their adopted child was made by Mrs. {). M. Watersoii against her husband. .Complainant said that she was married at E'gmont Village in 1919. There were no children of the marriage, but a child had been adopted. They liad parted in November, 1929, and since July o her husband had failed to maintain the child and had refused to do so.
An order was made for los per week and defendant was ordered to pay £l2 past maintenance at the rate of os per week.
