A, message from Regina states that a resolution urging the Dominion Government to take the initiative in bringing about a conference of nations with the object of increasing the purchasing power of the people was defeated at the annual convention of the Trades and Labour Congress of Canada. The president (Air. Aloore) states that the League- of Nations, and the International Federation of Labour Unions were working to the: same end. Unemployment insurance: was urged.
