PERTH, Sept. 10. George Clifford Wray, who was found guilty of the wilful murder of Charles Patterson, was • sentenced to death. The jury made a recommendation that Wray be shown mercy on account of his youth and weak mind.
A message on August 12Charles Patterson, a taxi-driver, 27 years of age, was found shot dead nine miles from Perth. FTis body was in a sitting position. Clifford Avray, aged 19, who had engaged Patterson s cab. has been arrested on a charge ol murder.
