(From Our Own Correspondent). SEASON’S LAST HUNT. The “Master's hunt.” the last of the, season, was held in Kwki.vraen. on. Saturday July 26, and hunted over the properties of JMessr.s Welsh, Fowler, <Ghamccrlain, Chinn i chad, Bayradougli- and Morris. It was one of the best- hunts of the season, and a large croAvd foWlow-e-d :i n cars. The afternoon tea provided by Dr. and Airs Simmons was' ihekl at the Kaka.mmca. Hotel. After the guests had paitaken, of refreshments, Ivir E. Pan-sons of Waitotara (Deputy-Mas ter), on behalf of the drub, thanked, the Master and Airs Simmons for their hospitality, the Master suitably replied, and thanked the various owners' for the use of their properties. ! THE DAIRY INDFSTBY. - The local factory opened on Thursday hv-d, running every other day. and the season will .soon bo in. lull swing. Hie cows are gonora'ilv looking well, e.oi'ycne having plenty of winter feed. DEPARTING RESTDEiNTS ENTERTAINED. Mr and Mrs Huston and Master Elwyn Huston, who are shortly tearing to- reside- in the Waikato were entertained by the Kakaramea. and Alton Bible Glass of which Mr Huston, has been leader for the 'past lo or 16 years. Mr Leonard Tarrant, and Air Keith Tarrant, on behalf of the. class, presented Mr and Airs Huston with a handsome clock suitably inscribed, and Air Elwyn Huston with a fountain pen.
