THEFT OF POSTAL PACKET
ALLEGATION AGAINST OFFICIAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 14. A young man named John diaries Tbomnn was arrested to-day on a charge of having stolen a postal (packet, the property of MeGavin and Co., whilst employed as a postal officer. He appeared before Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, S.AL. in the- afternoon, -and! was remanded- to appear on May 21, bail being fixed at £IOO and one surety of £loo' or two of £SO.
