MAORI ASSOCIATION PROTESTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 16. The Akarana Maori Association resolved to send to the Acting-Prime Minister (Hon. G - AV. Forbes) a strong protest against the issue of a license to soil spirituous liquors to the new hostel at National Park, granted for that purpose by the native owners, on tihe ground that the license would be detrimental to the Maoris of the district.
