SEVERE FROST IN CHRISTCHURCH.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 16. Orchards and. gardens were severely damaged as a result of 10.4 degrees -A frost this morning. In many cases fruit that had survived the hard frost on October 24 was destroyed. Some districts also report damage to crops by heavy rain following a sudden .change in the weather yesterday.
