It is stated that a number of members of Parliament who won tickets for the flight in the airship RlOl .on Saturday found a number of pressing engagements preventing their participation. Several report that they received letters from constituents imploring them not to risk the flight. One member of the House of Com-
. moils says he discovered in a publication which features predictions that a disaster to an airship in iwthich politicians were enjoying a flight mas foretold for this very month and year. According to present arrangements the Rl'Ol will carry a party numbering about 180, including 75 members of the House of Commons, 20 peers, three of the latter being aged over 70. The human caTgo will weigh approximately 13 tons. It is the largest number of individuals to be taken into the air by one craft. The accommodation of RlOl is such that the dining saloon has room for 50 people at a sitting.
