(From Our Own Correspondent,). | DANCE. | An enjoyable fancy dress dance was j bold in the- Opunake- -beach pavilion on | -Monday evening. There was a good | number present, including dancers in j fancy dress. Coburn’s orchestra, supplied the- music, extras being; played by -Miss R. Neilson and Mr C. Fearer. A novelfcv dance was won by Miss J. Feaver and partner. Supper was supplied by the lessee- of the pavilion (Mrs E. Jenkins), Mr E. Smith acted: as M.C. GENERAL. Tlie contractors (Messrs Thompson and Morris) have nearly finished ithe improvements at the Opunake- cottage hospital, and the work s-bould be completed within a week. The Opunake Fo-otb-a-M Club held it.s first practice for the .senior team on Tuesday nigh;t. The official opening of the t’oeal golf season takes place on Saturday afternoon. The links have been improved, and within a month should 1 be in a good condition.
