AUCKLAND, March 1A member of. the Wellington Fire Brigade, James William Stewart, aged 25, who arrived with his wife to spend a, holiday in Auckland, was charged at the Police, Court with the theft of a gold and diamond ring and a camera, to- the total vaAue of £lO, the property of some oeinson unknown, the police alleging that the property had been stolen bv the accused from fires he had attended; The accused was remanded, on bail to Wellington.
