CAMPAIGN IN GERMANY.
LUDENDORFF’S CRUSADE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) , BERLIN, Jan. 23. General Ludendorff has completed arrangements for a missionary campaign in which he and his wife will tour throughout Germany, calling on the Germans to renounce Christianity and return to the worship of the ancient pagan gods. The campaign will open on January 26 with an address to the Tannenberg League at Plauen, Saxony. Ludendorff dis confident of gaining many converts. Frau Ludendorff published a book full of references to mythology, pagan German goddesses, and other Rermic dieties. She sets out that “in this' hour of national need recognition of the sanctity of our race, the sanctity of our racial gods has once more been awakened and nothing can prevent Germans returning to the worship of the gods of tlieir fathers.” Ludendorff will lead an attack on “Jews, Jesuits, Freemasons and other infidels.”
