* DOMINION OFFICERS ELECTED. (B> lelegruph—K'.ess Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 24, At the annual conference ql the New Zealand section of the Institute of Chemistry yesterday officers were elected as follows : Chairman. Prof. Easterfield. (Nelson); secretary. Mr W. It. Mummery (Wanganui) ; committee, Dr. Annette (Waikato), Messrs Donovan (Wellington), A. M. Wright (Christchurch) and R. Gardiner (Dunedin). In the evening, at a joint meeting with thy Auckland Chemical Society, a discussion took place on the present and future status of chemists in New Zealand and the question of registration of chemists.
