Th© King is making slow progress, stated a bulletin issued at 11 o’clock this morning. The next bulletin will appear to-morrow morning. Received 10.30 a.m. to-day.

LONDON, Jan. 14. There- is a good deal of satisfaction at Buckingham Palace this morning owing to the issue of a- bulletin in which there is the first mention of progress since last Wednesday. It is, however, emphasised that progress must be very slow and that the period of difficulties and anxiety has not yet passed. The Queen's- cold is better, but she is keeping within doors.
