The schedule of freight alterations lias been issued confidentiality to shiptoading brokers, with the result that shippers can ascertain the rates for their particular goods. Consequently business is working more smoothly. Among the increases in freights -are: Earthenware and glassware 60s to 655; china-ware. 60s to 70s; -aeroplanes 1 ,55 s to- 60s; fireclay lamps, 50s to- 555; hofl-o-ware, 60s to 70s: wheel axles. 100 s to 110 s: three-ply boards and many kinds of w-oodwa-re, 60s to- 655.
