SOUTH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. At Kaponga this morning the final of the South Taranaki Primary Schools J.uniod championship was p ayed by Manga loki and Manaia. At the end of two 20-minuie spells the score was three all, necessitating the playing of two extra spells of 10 minutes. Manga loki eventually won by 17 points to 3, the 6.ore being compiled as follows: For Mangaloki—Host in, three tries (two converted) and a, potted goal, by Wolfe; Manaia -Hansen secured an uncom erted try. The game was fast and interesting.

Mmgatoki will play off for the proc incial championship at a place and date to be arranged, their opponents being Moturoa, winners of the northern junior championship.
