The “Holstein-Friesian World” ana1\ sed the public sales of 1027 and found that pure-bred cows with long lime records averaged over 660 dol., and cows without records and from untested dams sold for a, little over 200 dol.
.buyers of grade are demanding more than ever cows with good annual records. It is being found by the practical dairy farmer that the oow that •an make from 30q to 4001 b in a year is many times more profitable chan the one that .produces but 2001 b tab. The 'time is fast approaching when good prices cannot he expected or cows with no records.
