AUCKLAND FOOTBALL DISPUTE. (By Telegraph—tress Association., AUCKLAND. June 26. A,t the outcome of a dispute between the Thistle Club and the Auckland Football' Association, which -started oveithe suspension of a player, members of the former and its a £ a speoiaL meeting last -night decided to form a new association. The chairman. Air J. F. W. Dickson, stated that although it would not- be recognised by the New Zealand council, the new association must be able to go beyond that authority and seek affiliation with the Scottish Football Association. Dr. AlcDougall regretted that the dub shoulcl- have found such drastic action necessary. He felt the Thistle’s first consideration was to the public, which took a delight in the team’s fine play. The formation of a new-associ-ation wasj risky and he suggested that steps token t ( > reopen the door to conciliation.
MARKET IN G OF HONEY. HAMILTON, June 25. In reference to tlie control of honey marketin'!, the Auckland Proivinaiail Branch of the National Beekeepers’ Association has resolved: “That this meeting; views with concern the attempt being made bv commercial interests to upset the market arrangements of ©ur product. We reaffirm our confidence - in the Honey Control Board, and the system of marketing that it has adopted.”
