RAID BY BANDITS
MAIL CAR ROBBED. AT A TORONTO STATION. MAN HUNT ORGANISED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 9.25 a.m. to-day. OTTAWA, June 20. A message from Toronto states: Six armed bandits held up a Canadian National mail car at Union .Station and seized three registered mail bags containing from one to three hundred thousand dollars and made their getaway in a fast automoibile. This is the largest hold up in the history of Toronto. The police in Ontario, Quebec and the border States have been strongly reinforced for the man-hunt.
