CYCLE ROAD RACES.

EINDi OF KAPONGAi CLUB’S SERIES. The last of the Kaponga Cycle Club’s road races in the current senior and junior series will be run to-morrow. The following riders will compete in the senior contest—2B miles, over the Manai-a, Otakeho, Awatuna, and Eltham Roads: H. Bocoek, E. Stockman, EL and A. Area, E. AVatson, C. Penniall, A and L. Gargan, B. Johns, G. Haigh, F. Lichtw-ark, G. Payne. The junior race—twice round the Palmer Road ‘ block, 22 miles—will be contested by H. Sharpe, P. Murphy, N. Adlam. G. Johns, G- Williams, H. George, O. Lyndon, R. Hosie, L. Schicker. POINTS IN THE SERIES.

The scale of points scored in the series to, date are : Seniors: H. Bocqclc and E. Stockman 13, E. Aroa and H. Blackwell 10, E. AVatson 7, L. Gargan 6, G. Payne 5, A. Gargan 4, A. Aroa 3.

Juniors: G. Johns 13, N. Adlam 10, P. Murphy 10, R. Hosie 10, H. 'Thorpe 9, O. Lyndon 6, L. Schicker 5, G. AVilliams 4, It. Grifkins 3. The table' of points allows four for first place, three for second, two for third, two for fastest time, and one for each rider who, completes the course, and so little separates, the leaders and runners-up in each section that tomorrow’s 'races bristle with! possibilities.
