NORTH MID-WEEK CONTEST. The outstanding feature of the match between the Inglewood teams was the play of Coutts, Devereux and Powell, resulting in an overwhelming j victory for the B team. Scoring 221 tor two wickets and declaring, they | dismissed their opponents for 97 and 93, and thus won by an innings and 31 runs. Coutts was in fine form, and ran to 115 before he was caught out by Gamlin, while Devereux was unbeaten with 61 to his credit.
