SHARE IN AN ESTATE.

CHIEF JUSTICE MAKES AN ORDERLY TELEGRAPH—PRESB ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 22.'' An application by Alice Mary Wolfe for further provision out of the estate of her ’ father was made' before the Chief Justice (Sir Charles Skerrett) to-day. The testator died in May, 1926, leaving a will under which he gave the claimant £2O, a relative in England £SO, and the whole of the residue, amounting to £9OO, to two sons. After argument, his Honour said that not sufficient- grounds had been shown as to why the' plaintiff -should, have been practically excluded from the will- He was not satisfied that it was just the thing to entirely exclude her, ordered that on the plaintiff giving up the legacy of £2o* she should be paid £220 from the' estate, each party to pay their own costs.
