NEW ZEALAND’S SHARE. ORIGINAL VOTE INCREASED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—GOP YRiGIi c Received 10.45 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Feb. 10. Supplementary estimates have been subnutted to the House of Commons for £2,158,000. TUie votes included a treasury grant of £7OOO towards the Duke and Duchess of York’s mission. _ This is apart from the amount the Admiralty is expending. There is an additional £150,000 for assisted migrants-’ passages in 1926. The amount is; apportioned as under: £90,000 to Australia, £40,000 to Canada., and' £20,000 to New Zealand. It was explained that the £518,000 originally voted Ihiad proved inadequate owing to the marked growth in the number of eligibles applying, for -passages.
