TOURING IN JAPAN.

Writing of a tour .in Japan, a tourist from Australia has nothing but praise for the roads round and the streets in Tokio. Inter alia, he says:—“The municipal council of Tokio is a real up-to-date body, and the city is a credit to the Japanese, having been virtually rebuilt since the earthquake.
