' In 1919 it had increased to 16,000,000 gallons, and in 192-1 In 39,218.000 gallons, while in 1925 the monthly consumption was approximately- 42,000,000 gallons. The figures for 1926 are not yet available. These totals include all spirits used for motor fuels in the United Kingdom.
