; jjy TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NAPIER, Nov. 9.
The free labour now employed at the three Hawke’s Bay freezing works is reported in all cases to be doing exceptionally well. They have set themselves eagerly to the task, and are quickly reaching the utmost speed and skill. . , Extra free labour is to be taken on to-morrow morning land; the policy of “brigading’’ frequent batches of new men to reinforce those who have already begun will be followed by the companies. By this means the portion will soon be that the works will be working towards full capacity with gangs among which only a .small fraction of "the total will not be skilled men. The free labour still continues to lie unmolested in any way.
