An American film, entitled “Ihe Uiiknown Soldier,” which lias been scheduled to be shown during Armistice week, has prompted a large deputation, headed by Lady Cowan, asking the Home .Secretary to prevent its presentation. The Home Secretary pointed cut that he has no legal power to intervene. ... The deputation was emphatic in stating that “The Unknown Soldier is an entirely American picture, which misrepresents • the most moving episodes in the Great War. It portrays an American soldier as the unknown hero. Tliis has outraged British sentiment. —Sydney Sun Cable.
