ON THE TRACKS AT TRENT HAM. >- , • (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, July 2. The continuance of ‘wet - and', coldweather has reduced Trentham tracks to their usual July condition. Only dyed-in-wool mud-larkers will prevail next week. ■ It was very cold this- moniing and heavy rain-showers swept across the course. Practically no fast work was done, although all horses were out and were given routine tasks. * Comical was the sole exception, revelling in the mud and- galloped, five furlongs in 1.10, tlie last half mile taking sosec good effort. ' . The latest arrivals are Llewellyn, Thursby, Birkenella, Highway, Ranui, and Paddon. r ' . .
