PICTURES OF THE NORGE’S , LANDING. CABLE—PRE33 ASSOCIATION —30P YRIGHT. » NOME, May 19. Though it was reported that. the Norge was forced to land at Teller because of storm and fog, with heavy ice covering her upper structure, pictures of the landing show, no sign of storm nor fog, nor of ice on the airship. In photographs displayed here on Wednesday, the ribs of the dirigible were plainly seen through the cloth covering, the word “Norge” and the numerals were easily read, and the pebbles on the beach at Teller harbour were to be seen plainly.

Remarking “I was much interested in the report that the Norge, when it arrived at Teller, carried a ton of ice,” Mr Ellsworth said on Thursday, “There was no ice on the Norge except on the propellers.”—Repter.
