MISSIONARY ENTERPRISE.

(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION J DUNEDIN, April 23. . A survey of New Zealand’s share in missionary’ enterprise was presented byMr. R. S. Clree Brown at the Dominion missionay conference. He states that the men who had gone out from New Zealand, or were supported iby New Zealand societies, numbered 139, and single women 173, while the field, including wives, numbered 371. These figures were for 19 missions. The financial figures from 12 societies showed an income of £67,521 in 1923, £71,172 in 1924, £78,118 in 1925, and the estimated [budget for 1926 was £75,264. He pointed out that the financial statement was far from complete, and possibly close on £IOO,OOO was raised an nualily by all missionary societies in New Zealand, which worked out at 2s veiarly per head. The report showed that the church in New Zealand had a very wide view of mission work.
