In the mixed doubles championship final, Willard and MBs Cox beat Wertheiiii and Miss Boyd 7 —5, 6—3. After winning the semi-finals of the junior doubles, Andrews and Wilson were defeated in the final by Crawford and Hopman 6—3, 6 —2. The light was bad and the New Zealanders forfeited in the second set. The game commenced late, and the New Zealanders were not at home'from the start, wher—as the local players were playing under customary conditions.
