DAIRY PRODUCE. OFFICIAL RANGE OF PRICES. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated the 24th inst., from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: Butter. Demand continues slow, with very little New Zealand available, and quotations practically nominal. Present quotations are : New Zealand. —Finest salted: 214 s to 216 s per cwt (Is lid to Is ll|d per lb), exceptional 218 s per cwt (Is 11-}d). Unsalted: 214 sto 218 s per cwt (Is lid to Is ll}d). Other qualities: 204 sto 210 s per cwt (Is 9|d to Is 10}d). Australian. —Salted: 206 s to 210 s per cwt (Is lOd to Is 10}d per lb). IJnsalted: 208 s to 210 s per cwt (Is 10}d to Is 10}d). Other qualities (salted and unsalted): 190 s to 202 s per cwt (Is B}d to Is 9}d). Canadian. —208 s per cwt (Is (10}d per lb)i Argentine.—Unsalted: 186 sto 192 s per cwt (Is 7;fd to Is B}d per lb). Other qualities: 174 s to 184 s per cwt (Is 6}d to Is 73f1). Irish. —Salted: 20Ss to 210 s per cwt (Is 10}d to Is 10}d per lb). Unsalted : 208 s to 210 s per cwt (Is lOjd to Is lOid).
Siberian.—l72s to 182 s per cwt (Is 6}d to Is 74d per lb). , Danish.—224s to 226 s per cwt (2s to 2s o}d p>er lb). . - Cheese.
Market firm. No official quotations for New Zealand, which is practically cleared, with the exception of a small supply on the west coast.
