RAILWAY MISHAPS.
FREQUENT IN QUEENSLAND. BRISBANE, Aug. 13. Ever since the Traveston railway disaster, derailments have been frequent in this. State, though fortunately free from any further loss of hie. The latest occurred this morning, when three waggons of a heavy goods train left the rails right at Eagle Junction, station. The platform and permanent way were not greatly damaged, but all railway traffic from Brisbane to< the North Coast and the moi n-ino-’isi heavy suburban traffic to the northern and north-western suburbs was held up. . , ■plie calls on the Brisbane breakdown gang lrad been so frequent of late that one pa-ssenger held up this morning remarked: “The gang .should with all its practice of late, be as quick off the mark as the fire brigade.
