NEW ZEALAND TO BE REPRESENTED. (By Telegraph.—Special, to Star). WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. The Minister lor Railways, following his u-Vicy of enabling railway administrative officers to obtain a wider knowledge of railway matters than is possible in New Zealand, lias decided to revive the representation of the Dominion at the annual Inter-State Railways Conference in Australia. New Zealand formerly sent a rai'wav officer, hut the practise was dropped many years ago. At the coming conference to.be held at Adelaide, the chairman of the. New Zealand Railways Board, Mr F. J., Jones, will attend. He leaves lor Australia on Thursday.
