SMALL VAN OVERTURNS; f (From Our Own Correspondent) HI While proceeding , home in a /light motor truck for luneli yesterday' midday a number of the' Taranaki .Power Board’s wiring staff met with.&■, rather serious accident. When rounding a curve in Collingwood Street the motor skidded on tlie wet road and oi'erturned twice before coming to a> stop. There were five men on. the truck and all received a bad shaking. Air E. Lambert, who was riding bn the side of tlie truck, received serious injuries, re- f - quiring medical attention locally, and he was afterwards transferred to the Hawera Hospital. .The 1 motor truck was considerably damaged. • It had apparently travelled over thirty yards before stopping. The driver (Mr Wilks) stated that' lie' yeas- travelling at about 20 miles an hour.
