MOBILE COLUMNS AT WORK. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION--COPYRIGHT. (Received Aug. 5, noon.) PARIS, Aug. 4. A communique from Rabat states that extensive operations of mobile columns in the north and north-west-ern districts, where the enemy recently penetrated, resulted in the .ejection of the enemy from their (stronghold in the Azjen mountains. The enemy lied in disorder, leaving 60 dead. Newspaper dispatches describing the operations state that the French infantry were most vigorous and tenacious, despite the intense heat.— Reuter.
