GANDHI’S CALL TO GHOSE. BY CABLE—TRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT (Received June 23, 10 a.m.) DELHI, June 22. It is reported that Gandhi has telegraphed to Aurobindo Ghose, requesting him to return to Bengal to take up the work left unfinished by Das. It is noteworthy that Das first sprang into fame in 1908 for defending Ghose on cluprges of murder and treason. Ghose is now living in retirement in Pondicherry. It is alleged that he is not interested in politics, hut is devoted to the metaphysical.—Times.
