ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A SUDDEN ILLNESS-
(BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CARTERTON, May 8.
A man named Cardna, traveller foi the Kaiapoi Woollen Mills, was picked up on the roadside at Clareville, Ca terton, bv the police last night. Cardno was driving a high powered car and it was thought he sustained a stroke, as lie. was found lying on the ground alongside the car. He was taken to the uolice station where he secured medical attention and this morning was sent to Masterton for treatment.
