The deceased gave her an allowance of £IOOO yearly. He made his will in 1920'. leaving her the whole of the residue. A probate action anent the latter was heard on July 12, 1922, but the terms affected debts due. The claim originally totalled £3O,GGO, but plaintiff was not pressing her claims for £II,OOO for bets made for the deceased earl. The present claim involved 407 items, including household expenses and salary of her lady companion .
