A. SCIENTIST’S FORECAST. WORLD’S ONE GOVERNMENT. LONDON, February 24. That the world, in another 100') years, will be under one Government, and sneaking one. language, is the prophesy of Dr. E, E. Fournier d’Albe, the prominent English physicist and electrical science expert. War will be abolished .before another century has passed, he says, and the ironies will afterwards be reclaimed and purged of all poisonous insects and bacterium, the people living in separate heat* and cold proof houses, without servants. Cooking, owing to electrical devices, 'will become a pleasant art; Clothes will be strong, but so light that it- will he possible to. carry six suits in a handbag. Prominent people will be able to address the entire human race by wireless. Maiis will be. carried to the Antipodes overnight, and all habitations thorughout the world wil] be linked by telephones.
