BALKAN STATES PREPARING. ,IY GABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Jan. 13. , The diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Herald (the Labour paper) says -‘white” Russian circles in London. Paris and Berlin make no secret or the fact that “white” armies are nowbeing formed in Bulgaria and Serbia, under Generals Skouro and Wrangel*Ye.,peetively. They are. planning an attack on Soviet Russia, in April and May. The Herald says it is reported that Serbia and Bulgaria consented to the formation of foreign arthies at Britain’s instigation, while it is alleged til at British somces are supplying funds and partially, supplying munitions for the scheme, The paper domamls the closest Pai-lianiehlary inquiry. u , V I LONDON. The Riga correspondent of the Daily Express reports that tile Bolsheviks are greatly upset by tlie British Government’s anti-Soviet tendencies, and accuse the Ministei- for Foreign Affairs (Mr Austen Chainherlaih) of attempting to form :v chain oi anti-Bolshevik States from Finland to Afghanistan. They declare that GoTihahy is being forced into the anti-Bolshevik ring, and suggest- that Britain will take a hidden mint in tlie conference to he held at 'Helsingfors in an attmpt to induce the Balkan States to participate. “Red” diplomats are doing 1 lieir utmost to prevent Finland, and Poland joining the bloc by promises of economic concessions.
